God, I’m Tired: How to Keep Going When You’re Worn Out

Finding strength in your stillness. Meeting God in your garden.

Have you ever been so tired that even prayer feels like a chore?
Not just physically tired, but soul-tired? The kind of tired that a nap can’t fix?

I’ve been there.
And if we’re honest—many of us live there.

Between working, raising kids, caregiving, running businesses, and trying to keep up appearances… we give out so much, there’s often nothing left for ourselves. And somewhere in the middle of pouring out, we forget to pause and let God pour in.

The Garden Is Still Calling

Last week, I shared how Jesus withdrew to the garden—not just to escape, but to prepare.
He met the Father there.
He brought His exhaustion, His fears, His “God, if it be Your will” moments… and found peace in surrender.

That same invitation still stands.
Your “garden” might be a corner of your room, five quiet minutes in your car, or a moment before the house wakes up.
But the result is the same: He restores your soul there.

Journaling is a Sacred Pause

Sis, journaling isn’t just writing—it’s a release.
It’s you saying:
“God, here’s my heart today. Help me carry this.”
It’s writing your prayers, processing your pain, capturing your growth.

That’s why I created the Self-Love Journal—for women like us who need space to be real, raw, and restored.

You don’t have to show up polished.
You just have to show up.

                  Scripture for the Weary Soul

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
— Matthew 11:28 (NIV)

Journal Prompt:

What is one thing that’s weighing on your heart today?
Write it down. Then ask God, “What would You have me do with this?”

Ready to Create Your Garden Moment?

Whether you’re overwhelmed, overlooked, or just over it…
you deserve a moment with God that’s just for you.
Let your journal be the place where healing begins.
